ABOUT US
Building skills today for the city of tomorrow
Yanchep Institute is more than a registered training organisation, we’re part of a bigger story unfolding on Perth’s northern coast.
As our community grows into a thriving city designed to harmonise with its stunning natural environment, Yanchep Institute ensures that local people, from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds, have the practical skills, meaningful employment opportunities, and genuine pathways to build rewarding lives right here in Yanchep, Western Australia.

Our Role in Yanchep’s Future
Our vision reflects the bold aspirations of the Yanchep Two Rocks Project – a city designed around education, community, environmental sustainability, and wellbeing.
Yanchep Institute provides local people with practical skills, employment opportunities, and real pathways to rewarding lives right here.
We actively support inclusion by adapting how we deliver training, offering personalised support, and building strong community partnerships. We ensure our facilities are welcoming and accessible, our team is culturally responsive, and our learning spaces are safe and respectful. We regularly engage with students, families, and community organisations to make sure everyone feels valued and supported.
At Yanchep Institute, inclusivity shapes how we work every day.

High graduate employment rates within local industries.

Strong repeat employer partnerships.
-
Tailored support ensuring learner success across diverse backgrounds.

Connecting Learning with Nature: The Yanchep Indigenous Botanic Gardens
Our learners will engage directly with nature in our living classroom – the Yanchep Indigenous Botanic Gardens. Here, our goal is for practical training to meet traditional knowledge, enhancing skills in conservation, sustainability, and indigenous land-care practices.
We actively support inclusion by adapting how we deliver training, offering personalised support, and building strong community partnerships. This includes our recent collaboration with the Australian Honey Bee Product Cooperative Research Centre and the Noongar Land Enterprise Group, where we delivered a specialised Beekeeping Skill Set for First Nations beekeepers at Roelands Village, Bunbury.
Our commitment to inclusive training meant delivering the program onsite, ensuring participants had the best opportunity for success—three students completed the entire Skill Set, and one student achieved a statement of attainment for five out of six units.
At Yanchep Institute, inclusivity shapes how we work every day.
Commitment to Youth Safety and Wellbeing
We are committed to supporting our students both in and out of the classroom. Our team is here to provide guidance, answer questions, and ensure that each learner has the resources they need to succeed.
Yanchep Institute is committed to being a ‘child safe organisation’. We recognise the strength and potential of all students, and our responsibility to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
