Course Details
This nationally recognised qualification provides a pathway into the main trades within the construction industry, with the exception of plumbing. It is ideal for those looking to build careers in skilled trades, typically achieved through an Australian Apprenticeship. The program covers essential trades such as carpentry, joinery, bricklaying, and other general construction roles.
Designed to familiarise learners with recognised trades in the construction sector, this qualification also helps them gain credits toward an Australian Apprenticeship. Core units include foundational competencies common across most Certificate III trade qualifications. Additionally, the structure of elective options allows students to select introductory skills in a variety of trades, broadening their exposure to different roles within the construction industry.

“You don’t have to build everything you want today, but you have to find a way to lay another brick.”
– James Clear
