Step Two - (If Required) Recruit/Hire a Trainee
(If you already have an eligible employee, you can skip this step).
Contact an Apprentice Connect Australia Provider (ACA Provider) for recruitment options, (or alternatively, recruit for a trainee yourself or via a Group Training Organisation).
Step Three - Complete the Traineeship Sign Up
Contact your chosen ACA Provider to organise the training contract sign up.
Step Four - Develop & Register Your Employee's Training Plan
Contact your chosen ACA Provider to select a training provider and develop a training plan that suits your business context, your team, and your trainee.
Find out about the financial incentives and support that you may be eligible to receive, and – once complete – your ACAP Provider will register the training contract with the Department of Training and Workforce Development Apprenticeship Office.
Step Six - Traineeship Commences
Employee commences traineeship; receive ongoing support – keep in contact with your training provider; to ensure the traineeship is progressing as expected, and meeting your business needs.
